Splash Reader is a comic book reading application designed from the ground up for Apple Vision Pro. It aims to showcase the potential of spatial computing when reading comics, providing an immersive and interactive experience that traditional reading apps cannot match.

• It allows you to read comics in 1 and 2 page modes, while automatically adjusting the size and layout of the window to fit the comics perfectly.
• Use the panorama mode to read up to 4 pages at once in a beautiful immersive view.
• Your comics live on interactive customizable shelf you can place anywhere in your environment.
• Long press your favorite books to place a graded model of them on a wall for quick access.
• Manga-friendly: read manga in right-to-left mode - either specific books, specific shelves or by default.
• Splash Reader remembers your reading position and marks the book you were in the middle of.
• Customize your experience - pick between 3 different shelf styles, 2 different book models and 7 different built-in environments.

Splash Reader is available for Apple Vision Pro and iPad. Each version is tailored to its platform, taking full advantage of the unique capabilities of each device.

Absolutely! Splash Reader's exclusive panorama mode allows you to experience up to 4 pages at a time in a whole new way, creating an immersive reading environment. You can scale, move and rotate this panoramic view to fit your spatial setup.

You can import comics in various formats including CBR, CBZ, and PDF files. Simply use the import feature in the app to add your comic collection to Splash Reader's library. You can also open comics directly from the native Files app.

Splash Reader supports reading DRM-free comics. These are available from various online retailers such as Humble Bundle, DriveThruComics, itch.io, and many others.
There are also many community-supported comics at any time on KickStarter, Gumroad and Indiegogo.
Make sure the comics you purchase is in CBR, CBZ, or PDF format.

Splash Reader on iPad includes built-in AI capabilities that enhance your reading experience. Select any area on the page using the lasso or rectangle tool, then tap Ask AI to ask questions, or use the Translate button for manual translations. You can also toggle auto-translate mode from the toolbar to translate entire pages as you read. The AI can identify characters, locations, and other objects, and translate text from and into a variety of languages — all without leaving the app.

AI features are currently available on the iPad version of Splash Reader. An internet connection is required for AI features to work. Support for Apple Vision Pro is coming very soon in an upcoming update.

Splash Reader offers two ways to translate:
• Manual translation — Use the lasso or rectangle select tool to highlight text, then tap the Translate button. This costs 1 token per translation.
• Auto-translate mode — Toggle translate mode from the reading toolbar to automatically translate an entire page at once. This costs 5 tokens per page.
Currently supported languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, Russian, Hindi, Hebrew, Dutch, Polish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, and Vietnamese — with more languages coming in the future.

Yes! Select an area on the page using the lasso or rectangle tool, then tap Ask AI to identify characters, locations, and other objects. Identification costs 10 tokens per use. It's a great way to keep track of who's who in complex storylines or to learn more about the world of the story you're reading.

Splash Reader currently supports translation from and into the following languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, Russian, Hindi, Hebrew, Dutch, Polish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, and Vietnamese. We're working on adding more languages in future updates.

These are entirely optional and do not affect core functionality.
